We start at the heart of your coffee drink – the espresso inside.
Regular: This is the standard shot served in every espresso drink at Starbucks. It has a sweet, intense, slightly caramelly taste.
Decaf: For those times when you want the flavour, but not the full-on effect.
Extra Shots: If you want more of that coffee flavour, add a shot or two. A drink with two shots is called a double, naturally.
Half-Caf: This is a double with one shot of decaf and one regular.
Ristretto: A ristretto shot is a short pull of espresso, capturing only the sweetest part. It's for those who are very particular about their coffee. |

If you've got a sweet tooth for something particular, try a syrup flavour in your latte. There's a small extra charge. Starbucks has many to choose from.
Vanilla: Our most popular syrup.
Caramel: Deliciously rich when combined with espresso.
Hazelnut: Adds a smooth, nutty taste to your drink.
Raspberry: A clean, berry taste complements any espresso beverage.
Irish Cream: For a splash of delicious, creamy taste. |

Low fat, whole milk, steamed, foamed, wet, dry – there are so many different, creative ways to take your milk in a drink.
Whole milk: We use whole milk as our "regular" unless you tell us otherwise.
Low fat: If you're cutting fats, request this slimmer alternative. |

Beyond the milk, syrup and espresso, there are so many other ways to put your personal stamp on a drink.
Dry (or Foamy): A dry cappuccino is one that is more foam than milk. The espresso shoots through the foam an intense flavour experience.
Wet (or Flat): Conversely, a wet cappuccino is more like that of a latte.
Whipped cream (or not): Add a little fun to your drink. Or if your drink usually comes with whipped cream (like a mocha), you can ask us to hold off.
Light: Any time you want less of something, tell us to go light. It could be light whip, light syrup, light foam – you name it.
Sugar Substitute: We'd be happy to add 'Sweet & Low' brand sweeteners if you desire.
Extra Hot: We steam our milk to around 160°F (70°C), but some like it a bit hotter than that. Just let us know! |
